Rusk’s New Designer Collection Preserves Performance for Hairstylists

New formulas inspire and provide confidence to stylists at every level, says officials.

Rusk has elevated its Designer Collection with a “streamlined, performance-driven” system designed to help stylists work smarter and more artistically.

“The professional stylist community and their support is a meaningful driver of our success,” said David Rosenblatt, CEO, Beauty Quest Group. “The new Designer Collection builds on that foundation by featuring our bold, performance-driven formulas within an easy-to-navigate system to inspire and provide confidence to stylists at every level.”

The Stylers

According to Rusk, the Stylers are organized into four groups: Smooth & Protect; Texturize & Define; Volume & Body; and Finish & Hold.

Four hero products include:

• D-Frizz Primer for 72-hour frizz control, shine boosting by up to 60% and protection against heat and humidity.

• Smoothr Blow Dry Cream replenishes moisture, smooths flyaways and enhances natural shine for blowouts or definition.

• Curl Defining Gel is a lightweight, alcohol-free gel that enhances texture with flexible control and a flake-free finish.

• Pomade is a matte pomade delivering buildable texture and definition with a non-sticky, residue-free finish.

The Care Collection

The Care Collection includes streamlined shampoo and conditioner regimens—in 10 and 33 oz. bottles— designed to address the critical hair needs with intention and precision.

The collection debuts with three new regimens.

Quench Intense Hydration is a lightweight moisture powered by shea butter and sunflower oil to restore shine and structure without weight.

Elevate Weightless Volume provides a visible lift from roots to ends while improving hair strength by up to 41% and resistance to breakage by up to 60%.

Vivid Color Locking is a concentrated color-care system with amino acids, plant proteins and antioxidants to extend longevity and reinforce hair after services.

Modernized Packaging

The new Designer Collection is housed in modernized packaging designed for today’s visually driven, competitive salon environment, according to Rusk. The new design clarifies product category at first glance; communicates performance promise instantly; and elevates shelf impact while preserving professional credibility, according to the haircare brand.

“Behind the chair, clarity is everything,” said Rusk Director of Education Natasha MacDonald. “The Designer Collection is built the way stylists work—defined categories, robust product performance across textures and techniques, and trustworthy results. It removes friction and gives artists confidence in every step of the service.”
